Ink and Wash Workshop: Charming Doors and Windows (Adult 16+)

Students will experience what it was like to draw just as artists did in centuries past, using traditional tools such as glass and bamboo dip pens, sticks, and the medieval feather quill with India ink. Once the drawings are complete, we’ll bring them to life with gentle watercolour washes to add tone and depth. What you’ll learn: • Learn how to create expressive line with different tools • Learn about the traditional tools and materials such as dip pens and India Ink • Watercolour wash methods to add tone and depth • How to capture character and atmosphere All materials are provided. No experience needed—just curiosity and creativity.
