Enjoy an NDIS Active Adventure Day with a fast-paced 2.1km walk at Mapleton Falls, exploring nature before a relaxing BYO picnic lunch. Date: Tuesday 15th September Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Location: Mapleton Falls Join us for an active day of exploring the beautiful surroundings of Mapleton Falls. Participants will complete a 2.1km walk at a fast pace, enjoying the natural environment before taking a break for a BYO picnic lunch. Please bring: • BYO lunch • Water • Hat • Sunscreen • Comfortable clothing and suitable walking shoes Love getting out and exploring? Our Active Adventure Days are perfect for participants who enjoy being active and are comfortable walking on uneven surfaces, taking part in faster-paced walks and managing longer distances. This outing includes a 2.1km walk at a fast pace, making it ideal for participants who enjoy being outdoors, staying active and exploring nature. Participants should be comfortable walking on uneven natural surfaces and maintaining a faster walking pace for the duration of the walk. NDIS CostsNDIS Support Rate: $73.58 per hour Activity duration: 5 hours Plus: 1 hour non-face-to-face administration Total billable hours: 6 hours Billing is shared across participants. Minimum group size: 3 participants Maximum group size: 10 participants Approximate NDIS cost per participant at the minimum group size: $147.16 Calculation: 6 billable hours × $73.58 = $441.48 total $441.48 ÷ 3 participants = approximately $147.16 per participant NDIS Costs will be billed to the participant's NDIS plan/supplier in accordance with their service agreement and funding arrangements. Please note: 1:1 support, where required, is billed separately in accordance with the participant's NDIS plan. Out-of-Pocket CostsThere are no additional activity costs for this outing. Participants are required to BYO lunch, water, hat and sunscreen. Who Can Join?This activity is designed for NDIS participants aged 16+ who enjoy being active, exploring the outdoors and participating in faster-paced walking activities.
