Pottery Teaser Date: Tuesday 15 September & Wednesday 16 September Time: 9:30am-11:30am Fee: $150 (includes two mornings) Ever wanted to get your hands on some clay and create something of your own? This class will give you an introduction to our community pottery studio and the world of ceramics. We will have a look at the basics of hand building and wheel throwing over two mornings. Includes clay and a selection of your best pieces to be fired* (both bisque and glaze firing). All materials supplied. Suitable for beginners (aged 16+). *Pottery Teaser students are allocated one free firing. If students want more pieces fired, then the rest of the work is charged at $15kg (for both bisque and glaze firing). About: The Cooroy Butter Factory Pottery Studio is a not-for-profit community space for potters of all different skill levels. It is well equipped with pottery wheels, slab roller, extruder, kilns and plenty of workspace. Work solo at your own pace, or join a friendly class - the choice is yours!
