Beneath the magnificent bunya trees and the wide morning sky, audiences gather as the first light of day slowly touches the horizon. Led by acclaimed Irish composer and performer Alan Kelly, frontman of the celebrated Celtic band The Barleyshakes, this extraordinary collaboration brings together Celtic musicians, First Nations artist Lyndon Davis featuring the resonant voice of the didgeridoo, and a world-class local string quartet. Beginning with haunting, atmospheric tones that echo ancient traditions and the spirit world shared across cultures, the music gradually lifts and brightens as the sun rises — transforming into a joyful celebration of light, connection and possibility.
