JC & the Tree - Live at The Nook Cooroy Friday 30th Oct | 6:30pm | Ages 13+ | BYO Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, folk-rock fusion duo JC and the Tree draw inspiration from nature, crafting songs that explore life’s complexities through vivid, organic storytelling. Their sound blends soaring violin, rich harmonies, piano and handcrafted acoustic guitars, creating a style that is both intricate and accessible. With two albums and six singles released, and a third album release in May 2026, the duo have built a strong national touring presence over the past three years, with a European tour scheduled July–October 2026. Career highlights include performances at Woodford Folk Festival, Savannah in the Round, Airlie Beach Festival and Caloundra Music Festival. Their live show is anchored by authenticity, with lead singer Jesse performing on guitars he built from cyclone-fallen timber, reflecting their commitment to sustainability—also evident in their ethically sourced merchandise.JC and the Tree continue to grow their audience through heartfelt performances, genre-blending musicianship and a deep connection to the natural world.
