Where Art Meets Nature: Cultivating Beauty, Connection and Wellbeing for All

In this talk, Margit shares her lived experience of how art, especially when held within the natural world, can affect us deeply. Drawing on decades spent creating and caring for the Phoenix Sculpture Garden with her late husband, the sculptor Graham Radcliffe (1934-2022), she describes how beauty, stillness and meaningful encounters with sculpture can strengthen connection, restore wellbeing and bring people back to themselves. She reflects on the garden as more than a place to view art: it is a living environment where nature and creativity work together, inviting contemplation, conversation and renewal.
