This beginner-friendly workshop will focus on native plants and wildlife, offering a beautiful starting point for your designs. You are also welcome to bring your own reference materials if you have something specific you’d like to explore. In this beginner-friendly workshop, Megan will guide you through: • Observing and sketching natural forms, and translating textures and patterns into linocut designs • Learning the fundamentals of linocut printmaking - from carving and inking to hand-printing using a variety of papers and tools • Creating your own unique, nature-inspired prints to take home - ready to frame or gift (perfect for the lead-up to Christmas!) You’ll also leave with your carved lino block, so you can continue printing beyond the workshop, along with the prints you create during the session. Whether you're completely new to printmaking or looking to deepen your creative connection with nature, this workshop offers a relaxed and supportive space to slow down, learn new skills, and engage with the beauty of the local environment.
