Wildflowering walk and draw at Kathleen McArthur Conservation Park

Join us for a wildflower walk, enhanced by some art making (if you choose)! Come and explore what’s in bloom at Kathleen McArthur Conservation Park and get a little bit creative along the way. We will walk and wander the paths seeing what is in flower, occasionally pausing for responding and drawing. We will then share morning tea and some more time for drawing. Art wise - all experience levels catered for, art materials will be provided, but you are welcome to also bring you own. Art making is optional if you just want to come and enjoy the wildflowers, walk and good company. The walk is about 1-2 km return on sandy tracks approx level 2. There is some soft and uneven surfaces. Participants should be aged 14 or older, or supervised by an accompanying adult. A map with current flowers will be provided, as well as water and some refreshments. Bring: Hat, insect protection, sun screen, portable chair. Please note that our meeting spot is at the end of the esplanade at the entrance to the conservation park. The toilets and playground area is at the other end of the street.
