2026 Wadaiko Rindo Sydney Annual Student Concert

Join us for our 2026 Annual Taiko Student Concert - an entertaining, fun, and exciting night of powerful taiko drumming!!! Celebrate a joyful night of Japanese music at our 2026 Wadaiko Rindo Sydney Annual Student Concert - a family‑friendly showcase where all 30 members, from excited first‑timers to our experienced performers, share what they’ve been practicing throughout the year, bringing the energy of Japanese performing arts together - cheerful, cultural, and full of heart. You’ll hear the thunder of taiko drums, the gentle shinobue melodies, singing, and the colourful traditional Japanese festival dance. Each piece is crafted to be engaging for all ages — lively rhythms, bright costumes, and heartfelt moments that make the stage feel like a festive gathering rather than a formal performance. We’re also so thrilled to welcome our special guest performers from Soukyou Eisa Melbourne, bringing their vibrant Okinawan spirit to the stage. Whether you’re cheering for someone you know or simply looking for a warm community event, it’s a wonderful way to spend the day.
