5Rhythms Dance Newtown

You're invited to join our soulful 5Rhythms dance floor - to move, shift and tune-in - your own way. In this session, we dance to a wave of music - through the rhythms of flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness. There are no steps to learn, but there is gentle facilitation and inspiring music to get you moving. Dancing mindfully helps us turn down the volume on our thoughts and access the wisdom of our bodies. There's a lot of magic and mystery that can unfold when we have the space to move, listen to ourselves and connect with the collective experience of the dance floor. There's a few ways we create a dance floor that feels sacred, fun and safe: it's a sober space; we don't talk or use phones; we respect each other's personal space and cues. We dance once a month in Newtown. If you're new to 5Rhythms, you're very welcome too. All details and dates published at movingpath.org
