An evening with Safeena Husain

About the Evening Join The Life You Can Save for an inspiring, casual evening with Safeena Husain, Founder of Educate Girls, and TIME Women of the year 2026 Honoree, in conversation with Anubha Rawat, international development leader and host of the Philanthropod podcast. They will discuss Safeena’s new book, Every Last Girl: A Journey to Educate India’s Forgotten Daughters, exploring the journey of Educate Girls from grassroots beginnings to a nationwide movement that has brought hundreds of thousands of out-of-school girls into classrooms. This will be an open discussion with plenty of time for audience Q&A. It is a wonderful chance to hear firsthand from one of our top recommended charities, celebrate what our community has achieved together, and connect with like-minded people. The evening is also an opportunity to meet The Life You Can Save philanthropy team in Australia and discuss anything about our work, mission, and future plans. Everyone is warmly welcome—whether you are a longtime supporter or completely new to effective giving! • Doors open at 5:30 pm and formalities begin at 6:00 pm. • Complimentary drinks and canapés (vegan and gluten-free options available). Places are strictly limited. Please register early to secure your spot.
