The CREATE Centre at the University of Sydney and WestWords warmly invite you to the launch of The Arts and Creativity in Education, Health and Wellbeing: Reimagining Potential: Insights for Policy, Practice, and Transformative Learning, by Susan Orlovich with Robyn Ewing and Michael Anderson, with a foreword by Professor Sandra Gattenhof and Dr John Nicholas Saunders. Fifteen years after The Arts and Australian Education: Realising Potential, this new book examines the role of the arts and creativity in education, health and wellbeing. It brings together policy analysis, practitioner insight and case studies across drama, music, dance, puppetry and community arts, with practical actions for policy, practice and transformative learning. Join us for a short program with the authors and a guest launcher, followed by a reception with light refreshments. This is a free event.
