Brand B Fundamentals: Paper Lamp Workshop - Crows Nest

Three unhurried hours, shaping paper into light. Brand B Fundamentals is a three-hour, small-group workshop exploring paper, structure and light through hands-on making. Guided from beginning to end, you will build a lightweight frame, work with translucent mulberry paper and create your own sculptural paper lamp to take home. The workshop is designed for first-time makers as well as those with an interest in objects, interiors and material-led design. No previous experience is required. Eight places around one shared table. Tea throughout. Every material is provided, including a commercially manufactured plug-in lamp base, cord, socket and LED bulb. Participants make the decorative lamp structure only and do not perform electrical work. You’ll leave with your completed lamp ready to use. No experience needed. Nothing is rushed.
