The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Research Faculty invites you to the 2026 Research Symposium: The Science Behind Hope - Translating Cancer Research into Conversations that Matter Join us for a half-day of research, insights and conversation, exploring the science shaping cancer care and the conversations that bring that science to life. Keynote speaker: Leigh Sales AM | Award-winning journalist, author and broadcaster Leigh Sales AM joins us for a compelling keynote, “Blindsides, resilience and what happens on the worst day of our lives.” The symposium will also feature COBL researchers and clinicians sharing their work and insights, with opportunities to connect, ask questions and explore the ideas shaping the future of cancer care. Event details When – Thursday 19 November, 9 am – 2 pm Where – COBL L5 Education Centre Program – Program to be finalised shortly. Who – All are welcome. Join researchers, clinicians, patients and members of the community as we come together to explore the science shaping cancer care and the conversations that bring that science to life.
