HYROX Race Simulation #1

Hyrox Race Simulation: Your best test of pace for Melbourne- or any other upcoming official HYROX race! This event runs in a "start wave" format, meaning everyone will have a staggered start. Waves start every 7-10 min. (This will be determined by athlete pace) Your start time is determind by the race category you are in and the popularity of the race cartegories we get on the day. Please be prepared to start at any time from 10:30am - 4pm. You will be informed of your start time on Thursday afternoon (15.10.26) via email. Along with a video of the race course. Prior to wave times being released, you will be emailed requesting the following information: • Are you racing solo, or double? • If double, what is the name of your partner? • Which race category are you training for? • What is your estimated average 1km running pace. • A liability waiver (this can be signed upon arrival, but provided ahead of time to read at your convenince.) This will alow us to schedule waves in such a way to prevent faster athletes overtaking slower athletes, and bottle necking occuring at certain stations. Provided on the day- Electrolytes, Sunblock, Chalk. Please bring your own waterbottles.
