Manly Community Clothes Swap

Manly Food Co-op, in partnership with Op for Change and Sammy & Sid are excited to present the August Manly Community Clothes Swap. Give your wardrobe a fresh start - without spending a fortune or buying new. Join us for a fun, sustainable morning where you can clear out the clothes you no longer wear and discover some fantastic new-to-you pieces for the season ahead. Every item swapped is one less item heading to landfill and one more finding a loving new home. How it works 1. Gather your items: Have a look through your wardrobe and choose between 3 and 10 quality clothing items or pairs of shoes that are clean, in excellent condition, and ready for someone else to enjoy. 2. Reserve your place: Book your ticket to secure your spot. 3. Bring your items on the day: Doors open at 9:00am for clothing drop-off. You'll receive one token for each accepted item. 4. Swap! Return at 10:00am when the swap officially begins. Use your tokens to browse and take home the same number of items—it's like shopping, but completely circular! Make a morning of it While you're waiting for the swap to begin, your event ticket unlocks two exclusive offers: ☕ $3.50 coffee at Manly Deli to fuel your treasure hunt. 🛍️ Exclusive early access from 9:00am to browse Op for Change, plus 20% off your purchase.* Supporting a great cause Your $5 entry donation helps support the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter. Refresh your wardrobe, reduce textile waste, support a local charity, and enjoy a great community morning - it really is a win for everyone. Clothing Guidelines • Clothing and shoes must be clean, good quality, and in excellent condition. • Please don't bring items with stains, holes, excessive wear or damage. • While we expect mostly women's clothing, men's and children's clothing and shoes are also welcome.
