Over a month ago, a melting glacier claimed lives on an unprecedented scale in the Nepal-Tibet region. A 'Super El Niño' is intensifying in the Pacific Ocean and might be the strongest one to date. Some of the most vulnerable yet blameless communities in the Global South will face exacerbated droughts, floods, and heatwaves because of it. In a state of constant ecological stress, what can the foresight and intuition of children and women teach us so we may better heal and care for the earth?
