Discover some of Sydney's CBD architectural masterpieces including the amazing Quay Quarter Tower with an experienced AAA tour guide Description Beginning at Customs House in Circular Quay, this leisurely two-hour walk introduces guests to some of Sydney CBD’s architectural highlights. The tour is led by Mala, an experienced, AAA-trained volunteer guide who will share insights into the design, history and evolution of the city’s built environment. Architectural highlights include: Harry Seidler’s iconic Australia Square tower, which reshaped Sydney’s skyline when it opened in 1967.. Quay Quarter Tower and the wider Sydney Place Precinct, showcasing contemporary city-making and adaptive design. No. 1 Bligh Street, one of Sydney’s leading sustainable skyscrapers with a 6 Green Star rating. Quay Quarter Lanes, where boutique laneways and public installations contribute to a revitalised Sydney precinct. Instructions Meet inside front entrance of Customs House. Please arrive at the start point 5 to 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Bring a hat and/or umbrella - tours operate regardless of weather. Please wear comfortable shoes.
