THE SUMMER SPICE TABLE Food as medicine for the summer season Join Supriya Ruparelia, Ayurvedic practitioner and founder of The Veda Lab, for a relaxed afternoon learning how to use summer spices in your everyday cooking. Discover Ayurveda’s approach to eating with the seasons and explore ingredients like coriander, fennel, tangy green mango powder and fragrant rose petals. Learn how these are traditionally used to support digestion, with simple ideas for adding them to meals, chutneys and refreshing drinks. Cooking demonstrations will bring the ideas to life before we enjoy a shared seasonal meal featuring kitchari, a gently spiced rice and lentil dish, served with fresh summer sides and a fragrant herbal infusion. Leave feeling inspired, with practical ways to use your spice cupboard and bring a little Ayurvedic wisdom into your summer kitchen. 15 November | 3 to 4:30 pm $55 per person, including a shared seasonal meal
