The Unfollow Movement A different kind of leadership experience What if some of the leadership rules we’ve been taught to follow are the very ones we need to question? Be the person with all the answers. Keep pushing through. Stay in control. Always be available. These expectations can become habits we rarely stop to examine. They shape how we make decisions, respond under pressure, support our teams and look after ourselves. As 2027 begins, give yourself an afternoon to explore what is shaping your leadership and get clearer about how you want to lead this year. The Unfollow Movement is an interactive four-hour leadership experience hosted by Reem Borrows and Gloria Rees of Dreem Coaching & Consulting. Through guided activities, thoughtful reflection and lively conversation, you’ll explore the connection between who you are, how you lead and the impact you have on others. Our focus is on lasting behaviour change: strengthening the habits that serve your goals and helping you let go of those that no longer serve you. You’ll work with practical tools and build insights you can carry with you long after the afternoon ends, returning to them as new challenges and opportunities arise. Because what got you here may not get you there. Drawing on Dreem’s Health, Head and Heart approach, we’ll explore how your wellbeing, thinking and values influence your everyday leadership. Together, we’ll consider how to: • Recognise the assumptions and habits that shape your leadership, especially under pressure. • Connect your values with your decisions and the behaviours others experience. • Build awareness of your strengths, reactions and blind spots. • Create greater trust, ownership and accountability through everyday conversations. • Make room for clearer thinking and a more sustainable way of working. • Choose practical actions and behaviours that support your goals for 2027. Bring a challenge you’re working through, a question you’ve been sitting with or simply a curiosity about what you could do differently. You’ll be alongside other leaders, business owners and professionals with their own experiences to share. Expect an afternoon full of activity, fresh thinking, meaningful connection and a few good laughs along the way. The afternoon will also include the official launch of Reem’s award-winning book, Unfollow the Leader, celebrating some of the ideas that helped inspire this experience.
