Waverley Repair Cafe - September 2026

Join us at the Waverley Repair Cafe! The ever-popular Repair Cafe returns Sunday 27 September to Waverley Colleges' RJ Wallace Performing Arts Centre. Come in for a Free Repair of a household item (or for up to three items) and witness our amazing volunteer repairers in action. Repair Café volunteers fix all kinds of things, including clothes, textiles, electronics, books, wooden items, gadgets, games, shoes, jewellery, kitchen appliances, knives and even toys! Repair Cafe also has a free Tag and Test service, and anyone is welcome to make use of this. Age Suitability: All Ages Repair cafe operates on a first come, first served basis. Priority is given to those who arrive first, and we will continue to provide service until all repair slots are filled. Registering for a ticket does not guarantee we will be able to provide you with a service on the day. Repair Cafe is a free service for residents allowing them to have up to three household items repaired for free by our friendly and skilled volunteers. Repair cafe volunteers can fix a large range of items including clothes, textiles, electronics, books, wooden items, gadgets, games, shoes, jewellery, kitchen appliances, knives and even toys! The service also offers a free Tag and Test for anyone needing to check if an electrical item is safe to use. Donations are welcome and these help pay for costs incurred to operate the service - such as materials, tools and supplies used by the Repair Cafe.
