Make connections. Make art. Make time for your hobby. Find a community. How does Handcrafted Hangout work? If you've been to a few of our events before (or haven't!) they're a bit different. At Tipsy we're all working on a painting or craft together, step by step. But at HH we sit together, gab, work on our own creative endeavours, and help each other out. We're building a community that meets once a fortnight, to make time for the important stuff and slow down. What is the cost? If you want to come along to try it out, or can't commit to regular attendance it's just $5 for a drop in session. Otherwise we've got a membership to cover all 26 session for the whole year financial year for just $100. What do I bring? Anything! You can write, journal, collage, work on digital art, start a painting, knit, embroider, felt, draw - whatever you can bring to Tipsy is welcome! We have outlets if you need power, and plenty of space. Make connections. Make art. Make time for your hobby. Find a community. • Bring a mate, a group, or make some new connections. If you're nervous coming alone, don't be! We want to meet you and create something awesome together. Kids are welcome, but we recommend 8 years plus. • Bring your own beverages and snacks, if you like. We have fridges if you want to keep something cool. • If you aren't a regular Tipsy Doodler, don't worry! You'll find our studio at 80 Mather St, just on the line between Garbutt/Mount Louisa between the highway and Bayswater Road. We’re behind door #3.
