Get ready to splash some red and green as you learn to paint beautiful Poppies with watercolours, no experience needed! Enjoy fun afternoon at historic Jezzine Barracks to PAINT and SIP. This watercolour workshop is ideal for beginners . Join us for a relaxing workshop, using watercolour paint whilst enjoying your BYO alcohol/drinks . Not an artist? Not a problem! Our technique using carbon paper to trace your Poppy first, in pencil, on to good quality watercolour paper , frees you up to have fun with watercolours. The focus will be on you experimenting with watercolour techniques firs, t giving beginners an opportunity to try something new before painting this beautiful Poppy You will learn / refresh techqiques : These include : Masking with liquid plastic ( keeping areas of the paper white). Wet on wet paint Wet on dry paint Mixing a Fake Black Sptattering Colour mixing Your ticket includes. *Superior quality watercolour paper and paints *EASY to follow instructions from a qualified art teacher (Catherine Watt) *Coloured step by step instructions which support demonstrations so you can paint at your own pace. These handouts will be emailed to you after the workshop. *A beautiful watercolour painting to take home Facilities of the studio Large tables (ample room on the tables to spread out & create). Cold Fridge WC in the Studio. Small group of twelve creatives and to ensure you will get help after the instruction. *Plenty of Parking in the Battalion Car Park,100 meters away. You will be bringing home an original one-off original watercolour, painted by you on a quality paper in colours of your choosing. If you have painting experience, there will be other images to choose from.
