Operation Food and Shelter - Landcare

In partnership with Razorback Landcare Wollondilly is home to a unique diversity of local native plants and animals and they need our help. Operation Food & Shelter is a hands‑on Landcare field day where we explore how to better support the wildlife that shares our bushland, farms, and backyards. Across the session, we’ll chat about: • Local native plants that provide food, shelter, and nesting sites • A look at local birds found across Razorback, Picton, and the Wollondilly region • Practical ways to create habitat in gardens, paddocks, and community spaces • Simple actions anyone can take to support birds and pollinators. • How Landcare groups work together to restore bushland and build wildlife corridors Whether you’re a seasoned bush regenerator, a backyard gardener, or brand new to Landcare, all experience levels are welcome. This is a friendly, community‑focused day full of shared knowledge, local stories, and practical tips you can put into action straight away.
