Paint Wollongong Harbour for 9-14-Year Olds

Paint your own Wollongong Harbour masterpiece! Learn simple painting techniques and create a unique canvas inspired by this iconic landmark. Thursday 8 October Paint Wollongong Harbour for 9-14-Year Olds 10am – 3pm with artist and educator Skye Zaracostas Create your own canvas painting inspired by the beauty of Wollongong Harbour. Using reference images, students will learn simple painting techniques while exploring colour, shape and composition. They will be encouraged to add their own creative interpretation, resulting in a unique artwork that captures the charm and character of this iconic local landmark. Cost: $55 + booking fee Please note: • At least 8 participants are required to run this workshop. • Parents and guardians are welcome to drop students off for the workshop. Please note that this is a student-only activity, and adults are not permitted to remain during the session. • Please pack a nut free morning tea and lunch. • During our full day workshops, morning tea and lunch breaks will take place in the Arts Precinct, located next to the Gallery building and will be sueprvised by the Gallery Education Specialist. • Please make sure your child wears fully enclosed shoes and clothes suitable for artmaking, as they may get messy. • Tickets are non-transferrable. If you no longer need your ticket, please contact us to arrange a refund. • We will cancel the workshop by 1pm the day before if the minimum participants to proceed with the workshop are not met.
