Rest and Connect - Yoga Breathwork and Sound.

Join us for a deeply restorative and replenishing Sunday evening. A space for you to relax and let go the burdens from the week. Rest and Connect is all about creating a space for you to replenish and restore. We will be weaving together several different healing modalities so that will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed from any stresses or strains that you have felt during the week. Yin Yoga - Viv will guide us through a gentle Yin Yoga session that will help to target the deep fascial web of the body. Releasing any tension or tightness that you might be experiencing in your physical body. Breathwork - Following the yoga sequence Jake will offer a space for you to explore how we can use our breath as a tool for self healing and inquiry. You will be guided through a simple and accessible practice that you can take home with you to use whenever you need a little more space, calm or grounding in your life. Sound - Both Viv and Jake will use live musical instruments such as the handpan and the harmonium to deepen the experience of relaxation even further. A space for you just to relax and receive the power of these sonic vibrations. There is nothing you need to achieve during this evening. You don't need to be experienced in yoga, breathwork or meditation. All of the practices will be accessible and offered with space for you to listen to your own body and move at your own pace. THE SPACEHOLDERS Jake is a qualified breathwork guide and facilitator. He has been holding transformative spaces for people to explore their own inner power for many years. After conquering his own breathing challenges in his early 20s and teens he has became determined to share this modality with as much people as he possibly can. His purpose is to empower people to realize that they have their own innate power to transform their lives without anything else needed. Viv is a 600 hour qualified yoga teacher who over the last couple of years has spent a considerable time and dedication to deepening her own practice. Her style of teaching is accessible and truly adapts yoga to suit all needs and bodies. Raised in a family of musicians, music has been a core part of her life from an early age. She is passionate about combing these two transformational practices together to deepen states of relaxation and help people to expand their own consciousness. Both Jake and Viv are dedicated students of the local Yoga School in Otford where we have been immersed in ancient knowledge and techniques that are designed to help people live full and happy lives. Our intention is simply to create a space where you can slow down, let go of the week and reconnect with yourself. We hope you can join us.
