5x5 Walking Program Koonawarra Lake

Each week we’ll meet at 10.00am at the Kanahooka Boat ramp, next to the Kanahooka parking lot on Kanahooka Rd. From there, we’ll enjoy a 4KM walk. Starting at Kanahooka boat ramp the walk takes you through Kanahooka Park and around the lake edge, through the tree-lined Lakeside Reserve to the Koonawarra Bay Viewing Platform at Brooks Creek and back! Enjoy the chance to meet new people and chat with our friendly health promotion officer and volunteers. Light refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the walk. Dates and times: The event takes place on 5 consecutive Tuesday mornings from 10-11:30am • Tuesday 13th of October • Tuesday 20th of October • Tuesday 27th of October • Tuesday 3rd of November • Tuesday 10th of November Walking Route: Things to Remember: • Please bring a water bottle and hat • Please ensure that you are fit enough to walk 4km with us. • Toilets are available at the start and the mid-way point • Don't forget to Join our 5x5 Facebook Community Group
