Mechelen Women's Seasonal Circle - October

Join our warm, cosy, gentle womens' circle. Greet the season, and share what is in your heart in a safe, kind space. Women's Seasonal Circle A womens circle, welcome to all, hosted in English, but you are welcome to speak in English or Dutch. What is a woman's circle? Put most simply, it's a group of women, sitting in a circle, sharing thoughts, stories, and community. To bit a bit more colour on it, circles are curious, lovely, soulful experiences that cannot fully be explained. The best way I can put it is that they feel a bit magical. Sometimes there are tears; sometimes there is a lot of laughter and hope. The circles are loosely based around the seasons, often marking special days in the calendar. The circles I host have some ground rules. These include not interrupting each other or giving advice, and committing to confidentiality, but I'll explain more before we start. We do a little mediation and sometimes a small creative practice, but there are no prayers or rituals; my circles are not attached to any religion or set of beliefs, and my hope is that whatever you believe, you feel welcome and respected. All ticket proceeds will be donated to CAW Rivierenland, a women's shelter in Mechelen. The circle takes place in my garden, on the Baron Eduard Empainlaan (near Batteliek). The exact address will be sent via email the day before the circle takes place.
