It’s one of those places that feels like you’ve crossed a threshold between the everyday world and somewhere a little more wild, secluded and magical. And yes… there’s a little adventure time involved. The road to the Guest House is a rugged mountain road, so you’ll need a 4x4 vehicle to drive all the way up — or you can leave your vehicle below and we’ll have an ATV available to transport you and your things to the top. Once we arrive, we’ll be stepping into a beautiful private retreat environment with: 🔻A magical outdoor fire pit area Sauna + cold plunge 🌲 Forest and mountain surroundings Woman’s Temple overlooking expansive views over the Sumas Valley 🍯A working organic beekeeping operation and honey sanctuary on the property-every woman will receive a jar of artisanal organic honey to take home as a gift The apiary itself will not be accessible to us during our retreat, but I love that we’ll be gathering on a property where the land is also home to this beautiful relationship with the bees and the making of honey. The Full Moon reaches its exact fullness that morning at approximately 9:49 AM, just a few hours before we gather together. So we’ll be entering our retreat at the height of the lunar cycle — a potent moment for illumination, embodiment, celebration, release and harvest. And with the Autumn Equinox just days behind us, we’ll be standing at a powerful seasonal threshold: between light and dark, expansion and descent, outward expression and the inward journey. This is the medicine of SHĀKTI NECTAR. THE WOMEN’S TEMPLE One of the highlights of our time together will be a Women’s Temple Ceremony overlooking the valley — surrounded by mountain air, trees and the vast landscape of Eagles Landing. We’ll gather in sacred space to honour the turning of the season, the wisdom of the body, the fullness of what has been cultivated, and what we are ready to release as we enter a new cycle. This isn’t spirituality that asks us to transcend the body. This is an invitation to come deeper into it. Into sensation. Into emotion. Into pleasure. Into voice. Into the breasts, the womb, the heart, the throat. Into the places we have been taught to hide. Into the wild intelligence of the feminine body.
