Sound Bath for Grief and Loss with Horses

This Sound Bath for Grief and Loss with Horses is a gentle space to slow down, rest, reflect and simply be with whatever is present for you. We will gather together in a circle inside the covered arena at Finding Your Stride. The evening will begin with a grounding practice to help everyone settle into the space and arrive in the moment. From there, the sound experience will include crystal singing bowls, ocean drum, crystal pyramid, Koshi chimes and other gentle sounds and vibrations, creating space for rest, remembrance and reflection. The horses will be with us throughout the experience. They will be free to move around the circle under Jenn’s supervision. A horse may come close to you, or may choose not to. There is no expectation that a horse will interact directly with each person. The horses have their own personalities, preferences and choices. They may quietly stand nearby, wander through the space, investigate the instruments or simply do their own thing. Each experience is different. This gathering is not about getting over grief, fixing grief or finding the right way to grieve. There may be tears, laughter, silence, sadness, anger, relief, tenderness or many emotions at once. You are welcome exactly as you are. At the end of the sound bath, there will be an optional sharing circle. You are welcome to share, sit quietly and listen, or choose not to participate. This is simply a space to acknowledge that loss changes us, grief can be hard, and sometimes we need somewhere we do not have to make it smaller, explain it away or pretend we are okay. No horse experience is required. Please dress comfortably for the weather and wear closed toe footwear. Please come to the address 11143 Brooks Rd. The green gate with dog in yard sign will be closed as this is my house. Please continue down the road, turn LEFT on Bergan Rd.
