How does something ordinary become intensely erotic—and what can our most unusual turn-ons teach us about desire? Join sex educator and author Niki Davis-Fainbloom for a playful, research-backed workshop inspired by her new book, Fetish: Smash Taboos and Celebrate What Turns You On. Drawing on hundreds of studies, interviews, and an original survey of 260 people, Niki explores how biology, conditioning, and culture shape our erotic imaginations. Along the way, you’ll meet some of the book’s fascinating characters, including a woman whose love of bicycles shaped her romantic life and a man who enjoys being wrapped in carpet and stepped on. Through storytelling, guided reflection, interactive discussions, and a science-backed Q&A, we’ll explore where desires come from, why certain fantasies stick, and how to approach our turn-ons with curiosity and less shame. Expect surprising science, practical communication tools, and plenty of room for questions.
