New for 2026: Pre-Conference Workshop Day - September 22 The Planning Committee is excited to introduce a new pre-conference workshop, designed to provide practical, real-world tools that clinicians can immediately apply in their practice. Fundamentals of Concurrent Disorders: Contemporary Issues and Medico-Legal Risk Mitigation Offered in collaboration with the Alberta Medical Association – Section of Occupational Medicine Target audience: Both trained and non-trained addiction Family Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Psychiatrists (everyone is welcome to register) This workshop will focus on practical and legal fundamentals of addiction care, evidence-informed approaches to complex clinical scenarios, and bridging gaps for clinicians without formal addiction training. Designed for both addiction-trained and non-addiction-trained providers, this in-depth learning experience offers applied knowledge, confidence, and clarity for clinicians caring for patients affected by substance use and mental health challenges. Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits available. Registration Options Registration is flexible to meet your needs.
