About this event
We're baaaack! Dress witchy & get out on the water - let's gather and have some cackling good fun! Let's paddle Witches! Dress up witchy, wear your witch hat or go all out and wear it all. Bring your paddle board, kayak, canoe - let's gather and paddle! Why not? This may be our last chance to get out on the water for the season, and it IS the season of the witch. (cue the song) This is going to be FUN!

Who will be our: 🥇 Best dressed? 🥇 Best decorated? 🧙🏻♀️ Witches market table - NEW this year! 🍎 All proceeds to the Okotoks Food Bank Last year we raised $561 - wow! Let's blow past that this year! You are welcome to bring your child as long as they stay on the board with you at all times & wear a life jacket. BRING YOUR OWN GEAR If you don't own a board or boat, there are several places to rent in Calgary & online options like Fat Llama, etc. Life jackets must be worn, as required by lake rules. **This is a community event, not a class or a learn-to-paddle session. Please know how to set up your own board/boat & take precaution for your own water safety and be comfortable in the water should you fall in.** See our very first Witches Paddle video
