The Calgary rapper was introduced to the world of hip hop at the age of nine through the sounds of rap giants The Fugees. His sound reflects a fusion of this early influence and waves of new school. The Blue has shared the stage with the likes of Shad, Grieves, SonReal, and others. A few years ago, he joined Sled Island Music & Arts Festival as the festival manager. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Alcove Centre for the Arts (alcoveartscentre.ca) is a charity based in Calgary, AB which aims to make art more accessible and promote a vibrant local arts industry.
