COMPASS for the Caregiver (4 sessions)

Caregivers Alberta's COMPASS is a supportive multi-session workshop facilitated by those who understand how difficult caregiving can be. 4 sessions over 4 weeks. Tuesday October 13th, 20th, 27th, and November 3rd. 11:30AM - 1:30PM One price for all 4 in-person sessions. Caring for a loved one can be deeply meaningful but also incredibly challenging. It can sometimes feel isolating, overwhelming, and impact both your physical and mental well-being. That’s why SASHA, in collaboration with Caregivers Alberta, is offering COMPASS for the Caregiver—a supportive, multi-session program designed to help you navigate the complexities of caregiving while prioritizing your own well-being. About COMPASS for the Caregiver This award-winning program is led by trained facilitators who understand the unique challenges of caregiving. Over four in-person sessions, you will connect with other caregivers, share experiences, and gain practical tools to help you manage stress, strengthen relationships, and plan for the journey ahead. Session Topics: • Being a Caregiver – Understanding your role, challenges, and personal well-being • Managing Your Stress – Preventing burnout and finding balance in caregiving • Balancing Relationships – Strengthening communication and asking for support • Navigating the System – Accessing resources and planning for the future
