Connecting Rural Communities To Stroke-Health

Join the Government of Alberta, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, the Glenrose Hospital Foundation, the University of Alberta Rehabilitation Robotics Lab, and AbbVie for the public launch of Post-Stroke Spasticity Care for Rural Albertans. This two-year pilot will connect rural patients to specialist assessment virtually, using Alberta-made rehabilitation technology. The program will feature remarks from: Dr. Jessica D’Amico, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Dr. Lalith Satkunam, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Mark Korthuis, CEO, Glenrose Hospital Foundation Arima Ventin, Head of Market Access and Government Affairs, AbbVie Dr. Martin Ferguson-Pell, University of Alberta Rehabilitation Robotics Lab This project was made possible with support from the AbbVie, Alberta Innovates, Glenrose Hospital Foundation and Government of Alberta. Remarks from project partners will be followed by a demonstration of the assessment platform and a sponsored lunch.
