2026 AFP Nova Scotia National Philanthropy Day Falliday Social

What a better way to celebrate National Philanthropy Day than with good conversation, good company, and a little Falliday cheer? National Philanthropy Day 2026 Presented by Global Philanthropic Canada Date: November 12th, 2026 – 4:00pm-6:00pm Location: Delmore Buddy Daye Learning Institute, 5450 Nora Bernard St, Halifax, NS “Mocktails, Mingling, and Meaning” What a better way to celebrate National Philanthropy Day than with good conversation, good company, and a little Falliday cheer? This year, AFP Nova Scotia is bringing together members of our region’s philanthropic community for a happy hour focused on connection, conversation, and learning. Enjoy mocktails while joining us for a fireside chat with a local philanthropist. Hear their story, learn about what inspires their giving, and gain insight into philanthropy from the donor’s perspective. We will also explore the donor experience and what charities can do to build stronger, meaningful relationships with the people who help make their work possible. This gathering will convene nonprofit professionals, volunteers, donors, and community partners to connect, learn, and celebrate the important role philanthropy plays in our communities. Come for the conversation. Stay for the connection. Purchase your ticket and join us in weaving the threads of generosity toward a stronger philanthropic future in the Maritimes.
