BSides Halifax 2026

BSides Halifax is back for 2026! Come join us for another great day of talks and treats as we celebrate the local infosec community. BSides Halifax is proud to announce our 6th annual conference! We're back for another year! Join us in person on Thursday, November 12th, 2026, for a full day of talks, networking, and community at Halifax's favourite grassroots cybersecurity conference. We're excited to once again partner with ShiftKey Labs and host the conference at Dalhousie University's Computer Science Building. As always, everyone is welcome! Whether you're a seasoned security professional, an application security expert, a student, a hobbyist, or simply someone curious about cybersecurity and technology, BSides Halifax is a place to learn, share ideas, and connect with the community. Tickets will once again be available for a minimum donation of just $13.37! We're committed to keeping BSides Halifax accessible and affordable, and we'll maintain that price point for as long as possible. As in previous years, proceeds from ticket sales will support a charitable cause, with this year's charity to be announced soon! New for 2026! We're introducing in-person vendor tables, giving attendees even more opportunities to meet organizations, explore products and services, discover new technology, and connect with people working across the industry. We'll also be providing lunch for all attendees, along with coffee and snacks throughout the day, to keep everyone fueled for a great day of learning and conversation. We're putting together another exciting lineup of speakers, talks, and activities. The full agenda and event times will be announced soon, so stay tuned for updates! Six years in, we're incredibly excited to see how the BSides Halifax community continues to grow. Whether you've attended every year or this will be your first, we can't wait to welcome you. Get your ticket before they're gone! Agenda, event times, and charity announcement coming soon.
