Join DOS and learn to cook a backcountry meal in Point Pleasant Park! We will meet at the front gates of Point Pleasant Park at 4pm and make our way to a scenic cooking spot where we will cook up tasty loaded hashbrowns as if we were in the backcountry! This trip is intended for anyone who wants to learn how to backcountry cook, how to safely store food, and follow leave-no-trace principles.
