INSPIRE TOUR HALIFAX: DANCING WITH THE PAST

Join us for INSPIRE: a nationwide tour that celebrates the trailblazers of Canadian 2SLGBTQIA+ history, amplifying queer & trans expression! International Day of Pink 2027: INSPIRE International Day of Pink is a global movement that stands united against bullying, discrimination, and hate based on race, age, ability, gender, or sexuality. This year, International Day of Pink invites you to experience INSPIRE — a nationwide movement celebrating the trailblazers of Canadian 2SLGBTQIA+ history, amplifying queer and trans voices and expression, empowering the next generation. History is more than a story of the past; it is a powerful tool for building a more equitable, inclusive, and affirming future. Join us for an incredible FREE, all-ages celebration featuring live performances by Nykitene and Brooke Rivers, as well as Dancing with the Past, a theatrical performance by acclaimed playwright Lawrence Aronovitch. Enjoy dinner, games, and much more as we come together to celebrate community, creativity, and the power of visibility. This event is brought to you by International Day of Pink, Wabanaki Two-Spirit Alliance, The Youth Project, and Nova Scotia Legal Aid. We invite you to stand in solidarity with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Together, we continue the fight for equality, acceptance, and a world free from bullying and hate.
