The Sunday scaries do not stand a chance against a lapful of Golden Retriever puppies. Welcome to Golden Retriever Puppy Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Mississauga. This is a one-hour class where the yoga is beginner-friendly, the puppies are very soft, and the afternoon goes from stressful to genuinely lovely faster than you would expect. Golden Retrievers are exactly what they look like: warm, wiggly, and completely convinced that you needed a cuddle right now. They will wander onto your mat, tuck under your arm during a stretch, and look up at you like you are the best thing that has happened to them all day. It is hard not to feel the same way back. Here's how the hour breaks down: • 35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga • 20 minutes of connection and cuddle time with the puppies • 5 minutes of sharing circle Why people keep coming back Puppy yoga in Mississauga does something a regular yoga class cannot. A puppy wanders over, settles against your leg, and your nervous system just... exhales. People come in wound up from the week and leave looking like a completely different version of themselves. That is not an accident. That is what happens when you put movement, warmth, and a Golden Retriever in the same room. A note on Golden Retriever puppies Golden Retrievers are one of the most naturally social and emotionally intuitive breeds around. They are gentle, curious, and almost comically enthusiastic about human contact. Expect tail wags, soft paws on your shoulders, and the occasional puppy who decides your yoga block is a pillow. They are not wrong. Families and kids This class is family-friendly. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian who also participates and helps the child move gently and handle the puppies with care. Mats provided. No experience needed. Come exactly as you are, Sunday slump and all. Event Reference: YK-2026-0555
