Sunday Fall Market at The Fryfogel Museum

The historic Fryfogel Tavern & Inn (1845) will be hosting its first fall Market on Sunday October 4th from 10 am - 4 pm. Come explore this unique market locaed in the historic 1845 Fryfogel Tavern & Inn. Our historic site is the perfect backdrop for a fall vendors market, which blends local history and local craft artisan booths. Booths will be stations throughout the many historical rooms in the museum (many of which have been historically untouch to reveal a rustic scene). Located in the charming town of Shakespeare, Ontario (between Kitchener and Stratford), this is the perfect stop on a Sunday drive or a good excuse to take one! We have a variety of vendors sign up, so far, including: • Handmade soaps • Candle artisans • Textile makers (bags, blankets, bandandas, etc.) • Crochet artists, • Vintage items and clothing sellers • Artists with various printed and handmade media • Pet products (Lions Branch Club raising money for guide dogs) • And many more - our vendor list is still growing! Please note: Our museum has a porch with steps to gain access into the building and a staircase to access the second floor. Our site is unfortunately not accessible - all vendor fees go towards our fundraiser to install an accessibility ramp so everyone can access our museum.
