What to bring: • Have only a light dinner before the session. • Wear whatever feels comfortable (like you would for yoga). • Sandals or bare feet work best. • Bring sunscreen and a water bottle. • If you plan to wear a hat, a ball cap works best with the headphones. • Headphones will be provided. It is not medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Personal Responsibility This session focuses on general wellness and stress regulation. It is not a treatment session. Physical and Mental Health Acknowledgment By registering, you confirm that you are in suitable physical and mental health to participate. Breath Holds Rhythmic breathing and gentle breath holds are safe for most people. Do not participate in breath holds if you have any of the following: recent surgery, epilepsy, pregnancy, serious heart or lung conditions, or terminal illness. Outdoor Conditions Sessions are held outdoors and are subject to natural terrain and weather conditions. Participants are responsible for their own physical safety, including appropriate footwear, clothing, and sun protection. Gwen Merrick Therapy and The Healthcare Huddle are not liable for injury or discomfort arising from outdoor environmental conditions. Confidentiality Sessions may include a closing sharing circle. Share only what you are comfortable with. Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in a group setting. Group Context Any discussion during the session reflects perspectives for your consideration only. This is not a client-therapist relationship. Potential Discomfort Physical or emotional sensations may arise during breathwork. You are always in control and may stop at any time. If you experience lasting discomfort, please speak with Gwen directly. Photograph and Video Release Occasionally sessions may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes for Gwen Merrick Therapy or The Healthcare Huddle. Your face will not be recognizable in any image or video, taken during a session (either from distance/behind/below neck). You can choose to join a selfie outside of the active session that would show your face. By submitting this form you consent to the use of images or video, unless you notify Gwen in writing prior to the session.
