Come meet with fellow registered wellness professionals for some great converstaions about all things health and wellness. Join Our Monthly Registered Wellness Practitioner Meet-Up Are you a registered or licensed health and wellness practitioner looking to connect with other professionals in the Nanaimo area? Join us on the fourth Monday of every month from 6:30–8:00 p.m. for an informal evening of connection, collaboration, and community building. Hosted by Sandstone Counselling, this monthly meet-up is an opportunity to get to know other local practitioners, learn more about one another’s work, build trusted referral relationships, and create a stronger network of professionals who can work alongside one another to support the whole person. Whether you are looking to expand your professional network, learn about services available in our community, share what your own practice offers, or simply connect with like-minded professionals, we would love to have you join us. Who Is This For? This group is intended for practitioners who have completed recognized professional education and are registered, licensed, or in good standing with an established regulatory college or professional association. This may include: • Registered Massage Therapists • Physiotherapists • Chiropractors • Naturopathic Doctors • Osteopathic Practitioners • Speech-Language Pathologists • Occupational Therapists • Master's level mental health practitioners • Other comparable registered or licensed health and wellness practitioners To maintain the professional focus of the group, the meet-up is not intended for unregulated wellness practitioners, wellness coaches, fitness or personal trainers, direct-sales representatives, or individuals whose qualifications are based primarily on short-term programs. What to Expect 6:30 p.m. — Arrive & Connect Doors open at 6:30, giving everyone time to arrive, settle in, and connect informally. 6:45 p.m. — Introductions & What's Happening in Our Community We'll begin with brief introductions so everyone has an opportunity to share who they are and what they do. If you are offering an upcoming group, workshop, program, event, or other special offering through your practice, you're encouraged to bring flyers or information to share with the group. This is a chance for all of us to become more aware of the resources available locally and help connect clients with appropriate supports. 7:00 p.m. — Practitioner Spotlight Each month, one practitioner will give a brief 15–20 minute presentation on a professional topic of interest to the group. This might include an area of their practice, an approach they use, emerging information in their field, or something that could help other practitioners better understand the work they do. Following the Presentation — Small-Group Connections We'll break into smaller groups, giving everyone an opportunity to have more meaningful conversations, learn about one another's practices, and explore potential referral and collaborative relationships. The remainder of the evening will be open for informal conversation and networking. Bring a Colleague Know another registered practitioner who would be a great addition to the group? Please feel free to invite them to join us. We would love to continue growing a diverse network of health and wellness professionals throughout Nanaimo. Registration There is no cost to attend. We do ask that you register through Eventbrite so we have an idea of how many people to expect and can plan the evening accordingly.
