Spawn Point East Monthly Meet-up #10

We will be hosting our next Spawn Point East monthly meet-up on Sunday, October 4th! Whether you are already working in the gaming industry or interested in getting started, all are welcome! We are eager to build a community in Durham that fully encompasses all intersections of the industry (game devs, programmers, artists, writers, musicians, and much more!). Here is our meet-up breakdown: Start: 5-Minute Mini Talks 🎤 • This month's theme is “Grow 🍀.” • Each month we have a round of 5‑minute mini‑talks by volunteers on anything related to game development. It could be something you learned recently, a tool you’ve been exploring, a challenge you overcame, anything you’d love to share with the group. • If you are interested in giving a mini-talk, let us know! Middle: Show and Share Time 🎮 • Bring what projects you are currently working on and share them with the group. • Have questions about an issue in your game and want a second pair of eyes, bring those too! • Not working on anything currently and just want to hang out, that sounds good to us! End: Connection and Community Hangout 🥳 • Chat and be merry!
