Join us every Wednesday for uninstructed life drawing with local artist Shawn Hunsdale ✍️ #lifedrawing #figuredrawing #artandsketching Join us for an uninstructed Life Drawing Sessions, facilitated by local artist Shawn Hunsdale. Sessions begin January 7, 2026 and ends on December 16, 2026. These 2.5-hour sessions are open to all skill levels and offer a welcoming environment to draw from professional nude models. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned artist, it's a great opportunity to practice gesture, anatomy, and form. Held every Wednesdays from 6:45 PM to 9:15 PM. Bring your own materials. INSTRUCTOR INFO Shawn Philip Hunsdale is a community organizer, visual artist, and academic working in the unceded territories of the Algonquin Anishinaabe. His current research regards the range of practices in life drawing collectivities both contemporary and historical. Shawn has seeded several drawing circles in British Columbia, Ontario, and Québec. Currently, he runs Atelier Denu and three other life drawing workshops in Ottawa. Aside from his artistic practice, Shawn has worked in progressive, membership-based organizations doing communications, management, and governance work, and has most recently taken on the general management duties of the Ottawa Fringe Festival and Arts Court.
