A Christmas Carol: Solo - St. Andrew's Church

One actor. Every character. Dickens' timeless Christmas classic brought to life in a magical solo performance filled with humour and heart. A CHRISTMAS CAROL: SOLO – Celebrating 7 Years! There’s something magical about returning to a story that has touched generations. And this December, I'm delighted to bring back A Christmas Carol: Solo for its seventh consecutive year! Charles Dickens' timeless Christmas classic returns for the entire month of December, and I'd love to share it with you. One actor. All the characters. The complete Dickens experience. This is not an adaptation or a modern retelling. It is Dickens' original text, brought to life through a solo performance in which I portray our favorite characters – from the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge to Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come, and everyone in between. Through voice, movement, physical transformation and storytelling, I take on the entire world of characters, transporting you into the unforgettable journey of Ebenezer Scrooge and his discovery of the true meaning of Christmas. It's a theatrical experience filled with humour, heart, ghosts, surprises, and more than a little Christmas magic. SEE IT LIVE THIS DECEMBER! This year, a full staged version will be presented at St. Andrew's Church on Wellington Street, with two special opportunities to experience the show: • Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 2 PM and 7 PM • Saturday, December 19, 2026 at 2 PM and 7 PM WHAT CRITICS ARE SAYING BroadwayWorld reviewer had this to say: "A Christmas Carol: Solo far surpassed my expectations, and its success lies entirely with the calibre of Brault's acting. A less capable actor than Brault would struggle to convey the many characters and emotions that run rampant throughout the story: nonchalance, hunger, pity, fear, ignorance, derision, helplessness, grief, joyfulness, and glee. I overheard more than one audience member confess to wiping away tears at the end.” “A Christmas Carol: Solo is tangible evidence to the power of storytelling in its purest form and is not to be missed this holiday season.” https://www.broadwayworld.com/ottawa/article/Review-Pierre-Braults-A-CHRISTMAS-CAROL-SOLO-at-Meridian-Theatres-Centrepointe-20241218 https://www.broadwayworld.com/ottawa/article/Review-Pierre-Braults-A-CHRISTMAS-CAROL-SOLO-at-Meridian-Theatres-Centrepointe-20251220 MAKE THIS CHRISTMAS A LITTLE MORE MAGICAL! Seven years in, I'm still thrilled to share this extraordinary story with audiences. Dickens reminds us that it's never too late to change, that kindness matters, and that the spirit of Christmas is something worth celebrating. I'd love to see you this December!
