An OXA Luncheon Event with Larry O'Brien & Ian Lee

Join OXA for a special luncheon featuring Larry O'Brien and Ian Lee, exploring Canada's economic challenges and the road ahead. The Ottawa Executives’ Association is pleased to welcome Larry O’Brien and Ian Lee, co-authors of Trapped: In the Shadow of Trump’s America—and How We Escape, for a thought-provoking presentation examining Canada’s economic vulnerabilities and the choices facing our country as it navigates a changing relationship with its largest trading partner. Their new book explores how decades of political and economic decisions have shaped Canada’s current position—and what it will take to build a more resilient and prosperous future. But the presentation is only part of the reason we’d like you to join us. This special luncheon is also an opportunity to meet members of the Ottawa Executives’ Association (OXA) and experience firsthand what has made the Association a part of Ottawa's business community for 90 years. About the Ottawa Executives’ Association Founded in Ottawa in 1936, OXA brings together business owners, senior executives and key decision-makers from a diverse group of established companies and professional practices throughout the National Capital Region. OXA is different from many traditional networking organizations. Membership belongs to the company, and only one member firm is accepted in each business classification. This creates a non-competitive environment where members get to know one another and their businesses, build trusted relationships, and actively exchange business leads, referrals and information. Regular meetings give members the opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders, learn about their companies and share knowledge and experience. OXA's membership has historically represented dozens of businesses across a wide variety of industries, with many firms maintaining their membership for decades. Come for the presentation. Stay for the connections. Whether you're already familiar with OXA or this will be your first introduction to the Association, we invite you to join us on November 19. Meet some of the business leaders behind OXA, learn more about the Association, and enjoy what promises to be an engaging and timely presentation from Larry O’Brien and Ian Lee.
