The Annual Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa. Often referred to as the Annual General Meeting, Synod is the governing body of the Diocese; made up of all the licensed clergy, lay representatives of all the parishes, ex officio members, and the bishop. All members of the community are welcome to join the opening Eucharist October 22rd at Christ Church Cathedral, where the Bishop will be delivering her Address. The business session of Synod will take place Friday and Saturday at the St. Elias Conference & Banquet Centre. Thursday, October 22 Christ Church Cathedral - 414 Sparks Street, Ottawa 7:00 pm: Opening Eucharist Friday, October 23 St. Elias Conference & Banquet Centre - 750 Ridgewood Avenue, Ottawa 7:30 am: Registration opens 9:00 am: Synod in session Saturday, October 24 St. Elias Conference & Banquet Centre - 750 Ridgewood Avenue, Ottawa 8:30 am: Synod in session All forms and important information can be found on our Diocesan website: ottawa.anglican.ca/synod Join the conversation and share your experience online using our hashtag: #OttSynod ***All Synod members representing a Parish will be registered by registered by the Parish Incumbent.
