Drum Circle - Connect Play Music

Facilitated drum circle, with a focus on building simple rhythms and connecting with music and rhythm. Super beginner friendly! Amazing opportunity to let loose — zero musical experience needed! Are you looking to let loose and have some fun? After an amazing summer session, we're starting up again this fall with Drum Circles at the Bronson Centre on Monday nights. And I'd love to see you there! I bring the drums, and I'll guide you through enough to play along from the very first beat. No background in music required. Whether you're looking to de-stress, meet new people, or just try something you've always been curious about, the drum circle is a judgment-free space where everyone belongs. There's something about playing rhythm together that just feels good, and you'll feel it from the first session. I teach singing, piano, and composition at Long & Mcquade and the Redbird School of Music. When I discovered drum circles and free improvisation years ago I fell in love. What hooked me was the approach: knowledge is shared, not gatekept, and music becomes a channel through which people connect with each other. I believe in playing music in the truest sense of the word, to play. Music should be fun, stimulating, and accessible to everyone, regardless of background or experience. That's what ConnectPlay is built on, and it's what I bring to every circle. Check us out on Instagram: @connectplay.ottawa Check us out on Facebook: Connect Play
